Yes, we finally got to see Santa - and it was great (not to mention a mad house - so not too many pictures). We stopped off and had pizza at my mom's house and then met up with Charlie, Yaz and Darrick and walked to Fletcher Cove Park. Solana Beach did a great job - free light up necklaces, cookies and cupcakes for all - lots of kids running around everywhere and even a mariachi band! - Then at 6:30pm the tree was lit and Santa arrived in a Fire Engine! What a night for Lucas - he jumped right on Santa's lap - had a long conversation (which he won't tell us what he said) - gave him a high five and was settling in for a long sit down - too bad there were 500 people in line behind us. (You'll have to wait for the Christmas card to see the picture of both boys with Santa.) After we said goodbye to Charlie we stopped back at Nana's - Lucas broke out the toy catalogs (some of his favorite reading) and Owen snoozed on the couch. The end to a great weekend!

Leo Carrillo Tree Lighting
Yes, another tree lighting. This is where we saw Santa last year and had such a fun time - unfortunately this year they decided to do a Whoville theme and Santa wasn't there - but the Grinch was. We did meet up with Brendan and his parents Kelley and Dean. We didn't stay long, but here are a couple of cute pictures.

Christmas lights had to go up on Friday morning!
On the way home from Thanksgiving at Pamme and Mike's we drove by a huge Christmas light display - as we pointed it out to Lucas - he raised his arms up and shouted "It is Christmas time!" -- So our lights had to go up on Friday - thanks to help from Lucas, Grammie and Grandpa Skip - Rich had them up in a short time. (Mom thinks we need more and Lucas agrees.)

Couldn't resist the Owen picture - he wanted in on the action too!
