Hi all - I know it has been a long time since we have updated the blog - Sorry...

Here is a brief update of September and October

On Labor weekend we had a visit from Mike and Shannon Treanor. Rich has known Mike since grade school. It was fun catching up with them. They brought Lucas a remote controlled trash truck. It took Lucas a bit to master - but both boys enjoy racing it around the kitchen island.

Had to post the picture below -- my two boys snoozing after a long day of play.

Danny (the dog) vacationed with us the first couple of weeks in September -- Lucas loved hanging having him around -- Danny was very patient and watched over Lucas.



The first weekend on October we headed out to the desert for some R&R. The temps finally dropped to the high 80's - so it was not too bad. Jen and Lucas both had colds, but it didn't stop us from having a good time.

Lucas helped Grammie and Grandpa Skip in their garden. They were having new landscaping put in and had to rip out the old. Lucas thought it was great fun!

We had a playdate with Lucas' buddy Charlie at the Wild Animal Park -- The boys had a great time together and the parents enjoyed seeing the animals and watching them have a good time.

We didn't go to Bate's Nut Farm this year - but did go to the Pumpkin Station - Lucas had a great time. He went on the big slide with Dad (the second time down - Dad let him go and down he went on his own - bad Dad). Lucas rode the train he was all giggles before it would start moving - then the stone face and grip of steel went on - and when it stopped the smile started again. We also rode the carousel and played with the animals. It was a great morning - Lucas is still talking about "pumpkin station"
