Highland Games in Vista

Grandpa Skip met up with us for the day and we went to the Highland Games at Brengle Terrace Park.  A beautiful day and lots to take in and learn. 

TGIF Concerts in the Park...

We love going...all of us...We don't sit much as the boys keep us running around, but the music and atmosphere make it worth it.

Father's Day in LaQuinta

We packed up the car and went out to the heat to spend Father's day with Skip and Lois.  
Saturday - Rich and Skip played golf and I took the boys to a new park spot that had a splash pad.  We planned to spend and hour and were there for 3.   Then Sunday - Rich, Lucas and Skip headed to the driving range and putting green for some father son golf practice. Owen and I followed and played in the golf cart.   Such a nice weekend.   The boys are so blessed to have such great men in their lives.

Padres Game - Rich and Lucas

We were given some great seats for a game.  Lucas and Rich headed down to PetCo Park on a hot Sunday.   Between the heat and the loud cheering, Lucas didn't last long.  They explored the inside and outside of the park and headed back home.  Better game planning in order for next time :)

Adventure Hike -- Santa Margarita Preserve

Rich read an article about this little hike in the newspaper.  It took a bit to get there and we didn't find the exact trail, but it was a beautiful day and the boys had fun!

Soccer Season Complete!

We survived the Pee Wee Soccer season...on to t-ball
