Memorial Day Weekend

We stayed close to home for the most part. Lucas and I had a quick trip to Legoland with Charlie - fun as always and my mom made brunch for us...

Grammy and Grandpa's House

We made a trip out to LaQuinta(before it gets too hot) - The boys spent alot of time in the pool. It was a very relaxing weekend. Lucas even asked if next time he could stay alone at Grammy and Grandpa Skips and Mom and Dad could go to dinner or something...

Daycare Get Together

5 of the Daycare Families met at the park last Friday for dinner and kid run around. Everyone had a great time and we planned for more get togethers this summer. (Besides Lucas - there are 4 other 3 year old boys at Candy's - so they love to play together - and all the parents are fun too!) I was only able to get a couple of pictures as Owen wanted to eat everything on the ground - so I had to hold him most of the time.

At my request, we just spent a quiet day at home and to have Rich's wonderful homemade breakfast - sous chefs Lucas and Owen helped him make it.

Lots of reading goes on in the house...you'll notice that in both reading pictures the same
book is being read - there was a weeks period when all we read was "Camp Big Paw" -with Nigel Stoopbutter the Bully...It is a read along book and Lucas was able to read some of the words

Chocolate Festival at Quail Gardens

We met up with Katrin, Sebi and Silas to have some chocolate and explore the Children's Garden. Unfortunately there are no pictures of us eating chocolate (but we all ate plenty) - but lots of pictures of the boys playing...They had such a good time watching the train, fishing, playing house, digging up dinosaurs...
