LegoLand!

Hi everyone,
Dad took the day off last week and took Lucas to LegoLand.
Lucas's first trip to an amusement park. We thought Lucas
would only last a few hours, but we were waaaayy wrong.

We were there for 4 hours and Lucas didn't stop to take a breath.
And Dad wore out long before Lucas...

What a great time!

Check out the pictures and video below.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Everyone,
Hope you had a great Halloween.

Lucas carved his first pumpkin, and went Trick or Treating
Halloween night for the first time. He loved it. Once he figured
out what was going on, he kept saying "more, more" and "this is fun"
as we left each house. He got spooked once - I'm not sure from what,
but he wouldn't walk up to the homes by himself after that.

He had a Bob the Builder costume, but refused to wear it for more than
a few minutes, so we don't have great pics of him in his costume. Still, it
was a great time. We joined about 6 or 7 other families and paraded through
the neighborhood.

The spoils!

We took our eye off of Lucas a few minutes after
this picture was taken. Lucas seized the opportunity
and began ripping open each piece of candy, taking just
a single bite of each one and then moving on to the next.
Lucas took his first train ride today.
We rode from Nana's home in Solana Beach
all the way up the coast to Poinsettia Station
in Carlsbad.

They told me I needed a ticket.
I know it's one of these buttons...

Now departing on Track 1...

Here comes our train...

Bye, Bye Mama!

My seat!

It's bouncy...and fast!

Just arrived at the Poinsettia Station...

Bye, bye Choo Choo Train. See you soon...
