Independence Day

We chose to spend the day like we did last year and go to Legoland in the afternoon to play and watch the fireworks show they put on.

It was hot hot hot when we got there - so Lucas played in the water - we didn't let Owen participate because there were so many kids he would have been run over. He was happy to just sit in his stroller and munch on a snack.











We then moved on to the fire show (a must for each visit) and then to the playground (we opted to stay away from any rides aka long lines)...Owen was able to stretch his legs and was only run over a couple of times.










Then it was dinner time and off to find our spot in the entrance for the big show!
Owen crashed before it started and slept through the entire thing.






We were in the car and home within 20 minutes and were able to watch other Fireworks shows in the distance on the drive home.
